How to setup your WAP browser and WIFI in Cherry Mobile for FACEBOOK, TWITTER, and YAHOO. There are 2 Types of Connection for Your WAP Browser 1. Browsing by GPRS Connection A. Go to Services B. Select WAP C. Go to Settings D. Select Profiles E. Select which SIM card to be used F. Select your Network, then Activate profile, and wait for Activation G. Click Back, then Back H. Go to Select SIM I. Select SIM which you configured, wait for Activation J. Then click Back K. Select Homepage, Wait for the Homepage to load of your desired network L. Now successfully configured your WAP browser, FACEBOOK, TWITTER and YAHOO using GPRS connection. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Browsing by WiFi Connection for Q8, Q9, and TRIDENT A. Go to Services B. Select WAP C. Go to Settings D. Select Profiles E. Select which SIM card to be used F. Select WIFI, then Activate profile, and wait for Activation G. Click Back, then Back H. Go to Select SIM I. Select SIM which you configured, wait for Activation J. Then click Back K. Select Bookmark, Select Yahoo and wait for the site to load L. Now successfully configured your WAP browser using WIFI connection --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Procedure to set up Opera Mini browser in Cherry Mobile Q9 and TRIDENT. Make sure that the date and time is properly setup. 1. Browsing by GPRS Connection A. Go to Java B. Select Java C. Select Opera Mini D. Select Network Profile E. Select (User Profile, Select sim on which sim card you want to use, Select which profile --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- you want to use. Ex: Smart GPRS, MyGlobe GPRS, Sun WAP GPRS.) F. Click OK. G. Click Back, then back to menu. H. Go to Java I. Select Opera Mini. J. Wait for the Homepage to load. K. Now successfully configured your WAP browser using GPRS connection --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Browsing by WiFi Connection Make sure that the date and time is properly setup. Make sure that there’s a SIM inserted on sim1 slot. A. Go to Java B. Select Java C. Select Opera Mini D. Select Network Profile E. Select (User Profile, Sim1, WIFI.) F. Click OK. G. Click Back, then back to menu. H. Go to Java I. Select Opera Mini. J. Wait for the Homepage to load. K. Now successfully configured to browse using WIFI connection --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Procedure on how to personalize ringtone/message tone: 1. Go to main menu and choose profile 2. Can choose one of the profile listed then choose customize 3. In customize profile screen, choose tone settings 4. In tone settings menu SIM1 or SIM2 voice call option is listed (SIM 1 or SIM 2 message tone is also listed)the default tone is usually 10- 25 please check if there is an empty slot after tone10 or 25 if there is definitely can add a tone in your profile. 5. On the empty slot press add then the prompt will be routed to phone memory or memory card. Once was able to choose the tone press OK. 6. The tone was chosen by the customer should now be the ringtone. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steps on how to add music on audio player: 1. Go to main menu and choose audio player 2. Press list then will route you to another screen, please press add 3. Once add was pressed, the prompt will be routed to phone memory or memory card. 4. If the music is in memory card, choose memory then choose the option select to copy all the music in memory card folder. 5. If the customer wants to only select the music will be added in audio player, he needs to choose Open. 6. Once the customer chose either select or open in the menu, the music from the memory card folder is now added in Audio player. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to set up photo as wallpaper/screen saver: 1. Go to settings (phone settings) 2. Choose display settings 3. Under display settings please choose wallpaper 4. Under wallpaper settings, choose user defined 5. The prompt will be directly routed to phone memory or memory card. Customer may choose where the picture is located. 6. Customer just need to select the picture then press OK 7.
